PostGP User Data Deletion Instructions

November 4, 2026 · 4 min read

You control your data. This page explains what PostGP stores, how to delete all of it yourself in one step, how to remove PostGP's access from each social network, and how to ask us to delete it for you.

What data PostGP stores

When you use PostGP we store only what is needed to schedule and publish your posts:

  • Your account: email address and sign-in details.
  • Connected social accounts: profile name, handle, picture and the access keys the platform gave us to post for you.
  • Your posts: drafts, scheduled and published posts, and their publishing history.
  • Your uploads: images, videos and documents attached to posts.

Option 1: Delete your account and all data in the app

Sign in to PostGP, click "Delete account" at the bottom of the left sidebar, type DELETE and confirm.

This immediately and permanently erases your account, every connected social account and its access keys, all drafts and scheduled posts, publishing history, and every uploaded file. Nothing is kept in backups that we restore from. Posts already published remain on the social networks; delete them there if you want them gone.

Option 2: Disconnect a single social account

Open Accounts in PostGP and click Disconnect next to the account. Its stored access keys are deleted right away and PostGP can no longer post to it. Your PostGP account stays active.

Option 3: Remove PostGP from the social network

You can revoke PostGP's access directly on each platform at any time:

  • Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → remove PostGP.
  • Facebook (Instagram via Facebook Page): Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations → remove PostGP.
  • Threads: Settings → Account → Website permissions → remove PostGP.
  • X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → PostGP → Revoke app permissions.
  • LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services → PostGP → Remove.

Option 4: Ask us to delete your data

If you can't sign in, email support@postgp.com from the address on your account with the subject "Data deletion request". We verify the request and delete all your data within 30 days, then email you a confirmation.

If you removed PostGP from Facebook or Instagram, Meta notifies us and you can use the same email address to confirm deletion of any remaining data.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR in the EU/UK or CCPA in California), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to its processing. Email support@postgp.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We never sell your data or use your content to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
